As parents of two young children, we aren’t able to enjoy the restaurant and bar scene as much as we would like. Since it’s harder to make it out in the evenings, we’ve been delighted to discover all of the neighborhood daytime festivals in the city. In our neighborhood (Lincoln Square/Ravenswood) alone, in the past month, we’ve watched a parade, visited an Octoberfest and joined in an apple festival, and we are looking forward to an art walk!
